Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knew how to get ahold of Plastic Concept Planes. I ordered one of their Talon ARF's awhile back and have not heard anything even after emailing them last week. Their is no phone number listed on their website. I just want to have a rough idea when it is going to be here as I am swamped right now and need extra time to get it together for SPADfest. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

http://www.plasticconceptplanes.com/home.htm is their homepage which you probably already have. Making airplanes is not how they make their living, firefighting I believe is how they do it. So it takes a while to get you a plane built unless they have it in stock. They are slow but good, I have one of their Talons and love the thing. They also don't hit their email as constantly as you'd like but it's the nature of their life. They are good folks though and will take care of you as they can.

Not much that I can do to help I know, but rest assured, when it does come in the mail it goes together real quick and flys nice.

Thanks Clean. I knew you had one and its good to hear you like it. I'm pretty excited about getting it. I guess I have been ordering from Tower Hobbies to much! I'm not to worried about it really I just like to know when my stuff is going to show up as the UPS guy leaves stuff on my porch right in the middle of the day. Im worried some punks are going to walk off with my new toy.

Still nothing from these guys. No replays to any of the emails I have sent. It has been 19 days since I ordered this plane. I am really looking forward to getting it so this is pretty frustrating for me. I thought at least one of them posted either here or at SPADworld. Does anyoe know their screenname?

Be Patient they may be working on a out of town job for a few weeks, but they have never let any one down that I know of.

Hey TruBlu,

Sorry you are having problems getting the Talon. I will see my brother tomorrow and have him contact you. I also sent you a pm with his cell phone #. I am not too envolved with the coro products anymore because Paul moved the shop over an hour away from where I live but feel free to pm me also with any questions or problems that may arise.

No problem. thanks for being so understanding. I think you will really enjoy this plane. We were at SEFF most of last week and flew the Talon daily. The Talon had a .60 size electric motor from True RC and drew a lot of attention. Let me know if you want to go electric and I will find out what electronics True RC put in the Talon. The Talon flew great on his package.

Thanks Scott. I just got an email from your brother so we should be good to go now. I had thought about going electric with this plane but it is really not in the budget right now. I am going to start with a TT Pro .46 and if it is not fast enough i will step it up from there.

If you put a lot of power up front you may want to taper your ailerons. I usually clamp a steel ruler and cut the ailerons down to 1" at the wing tip and leave the full width where it ends. Guys have emailed me telling me they used .60 size motors with the trimmed aelerons and no flutter. I think you will find that a good .46 flys this plane well. Hope he gets it to you soon!!

Thansk Scott for the tip! I have trimmed almost all the ailerons on my SPAD's due to flutter so it sounds like this one will as well. I don't plan on adding gear to this bird till after SPADFest. Clean, which engine do you have on yours? Is it the Pro 46? BTW I spome with Paul and got all this straightend out so I shoulve my plane sometime next week. I am cutting it close for SPADfest but it will be there.
