Status: offline 		how is this charger. It seems decent and is only $25. I am getting annoyed having to wait 3 hrs for my ez start battery to charge. I also don't want to spend a lot of money for a charger that charges in like 15-30 minutes. Any thoughts about this charger are welcome.

Status: offline 		Since an e-z start is used and sets, used and sets, it may be difficult to estimate how much charge is remaining. It is nessecary to estimate or know the remaining charge when using a timer charger.

If you used the ez-start til it quits every time then it would be ok to figure out how long to charge a given battery with timer charger.

I think you can get a peak (one that s\huts off when batt is full) for same cost, maybe a bit more. In the piranha line look to a digital piranha.

so would this be a better choiceor is thiis still the same thing but a different version?

Status: offline 		That's a step up because it is a "peak" charger , it will shut off by itself when battery is full. It is for nicad only. The digital one is another step up.
