Yea I would love to get an OS 18 tm but I cant find them anywhere since they stoped making them. Does the os 18tz bolt right on and is it powerful enough?

Yea but you can only use a bump start unless you want to mod another version. The 18tz is a powerhouse. I've never compared it to a 18tm side by side but A couple of people on here have and they said its 10x better. See for your self: These guys all use O.S. 18tz's in their revo's.

i have the .18 tz slide carb one of my revos and that thing flies. same power as the .21tm. however, i am using a bump starter. If you do want to use a pull start and all the stock clutchbell of the traxxas engine, you will have make some mods. you can always get yourself a used tm that is being sold for parts and switch the back plate and crankshaft to the TZ and you'll be all set to go.

Hey I thought the tz needed to be modded to fit in the revo. thats just what I read on another thread but I would jump on it for the price. I know a guy thats selling his bump start for 85 so I would still be better off getiing that instead of 279 for the 21 tm.

Oh yeah, I have the stock 2.5. Hopefully upgrading before race seasons over.
