Status: offline 		I've acquired the Hanger 9 Cap 232 ARF, unfortunately I do not have the canopy or landing gear. Can anyone help me out to buy these items. The landing gear I can make if not available. Thanks.

I called Horizon before starting this thread and they said they didn't have it, but this looks like it will work. I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Status: offline 		That stuff is going to be to big. I would try SIG. They still sell a 1/4 scale cap and would probably have a canopy and gear.

Status: offline 		budgetdude might be correct on the size issue, I went back and looked at the wingspan and it's 80" not 73". I got the fuselage length of 74" mixed up with the wing span. (http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=HAN2900) Sorry for the bogus info. However, you could order the parts from Horizon and return them if they don't fit. Horizon is good about returns.

Status: offline 		Thanks guys for the quick response. I've called both Horizon and they said the canopy for the 27% cap would be too big and also called Sig and they no longer make the cap with a 73" wingspan and no canopies are available. Any suggestions on where I could place a want add? Thanks.

Your in luck, somewhat! I have a used canopy and landing gear for the 80" Alitalia CAP 232. Mine got mid-aired about four years ago and I kept the parts. I just checked and there still in the closet.

I painted the inside of the canopy silver and then applied a coat of black to make sure you couldn't see through it. A small section of the paint came off but it can be touched up. You might be able to slightly twist the canopy and get all, or most, of the paint to come off your choice.

The landing gear appears to be straight. If there is a slight twist you can work that out with a vise and brute force.
