Status: offline 		For those interested in the Norvel 074, Lite Machines still has stock of the V7 helicopter version for $19.00 USD

Even if just for a spare piston/con-rod/cylinder/back plate for your standard .074 or to make into a motor suitable for a plane.

They also still have the copper head gasket/washers for $1.99

They also have the copper head gaskets for the Norvel V6 aka .061 engines as well.

If you use the Shopatron thing it will try and charge you nearly $20 for shipping. You can order over the phone and get a much better price on shipping. I realize you are in NZ and what with the time differences and cost of a very long distance calling you may be no further ahead than just doing the Shopatron thing.

Had I known your need I would have gotten a couple extra packs the last time I ordered from Lite Machines and I could have sent those along.

Status: offline 		Heads-up guys. I just received my two engines and they didn't include the muffler even though the add was enthusiastic about the fact that they did. "Includes throttle/muffler!" they say...

I thought the shipping/handling was a bit much, but bit the bullet because I thought it was such a great deal... Now I'm feeling a little let down...

Status: offline 		The throttle IS the muffler...so what they are selling is a wide open unmuffled engine,,I have one on my LMH heli the throttle is done by blocking the exhaust,,something like the throttle ring on a Cox engine...Rog
Still if you can use one to rebuild your .074, not a bad buy...

Status: offline 		Oh, I'm familiar with the LM throttle concept - I was just hoping to get the extra bits.... Woulda liked to use some of it to better affix the muffler to my other Norvels... (I see they're selling the extras for $10.) I'll tell ya what though... these little fellas have some serious pinch at TDC...

Status: offline 		If you ordered via the Shopatron web site the shipping/handling would have been estimated or set a fixed price. cost to Canada would have been nearly $20. You can get a much better shipping rate if you call by phone and order.

Even though the web page indicated muffler/throttle included I wasn't expecting it as that item was listed separately.
