DONZIMAN -> Starting a Moki 1.8 (4/29/2008 1:37:00 AM)
|
Hello I need some help starting my Moki 1.8. I had it running a while back but it did not idle very well and was tough to start. I have difficulty getting it to hold a prime and then start. I'm using a dynatron starter which turns it over very well but the engine just wont start easily and if it does, it doesn't run but for a few seconds and quits. Can someone recommend a proper plug, fuel type (my fuel is kind of old) and initial carb settings to get it going? Do I need to use a cline valve to help keep the prime? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Andy
