Is the Align gear grease that comes with the build kit suffient?
Or should you step-up to something better? Teflon, etc. If
so, what brand or brands?

You got gear grease with your kit? Are you sure? If you are referring to either the blue or green bottles, that isn't gear grease. They are locktite...the blue is stronger and used for metal-on-metal whereas the green one is for bearings and such.

Good luck!

Wow, I guess I got jipped then!

For what it's worth, I don't grease anything and all is fine. I do use a light oil for the swash, and tail slider every so often.

Its for the one way bearing, it comes in the kits with the newer swashplate so if you bought one now that wasn't sitting around a while you'd get a few improvements.

I use triflow in the one way so if you're really feeling sorry that you didn't get any I could send you a tube.

They have different version of SE V2's? I didn't grease my one way bearing. Have to do that when I get home.

It's probably for the main grip thrust bearings.

You can grease the one way bearing and it will Love You for it and last forever.

I also grease the mainshaft and the tail bearings. Oil slings out almost instantly on those especially on the tail.

All other bearings You can Tri-flow oil if You wish.

I may be wrong but the latest runs of the kits include one way grease, a stiffer plastic fan, and a new swash, that has writing on the top.

What is a plastic fan?

Interesting, I didn't realize they updated the v2...shouldn't it then be a v3? Heh
