I have a new g3250 with a bisson pitts muffler Lx8675 bought from Tower. Does this muffler build enough pressure for the G3250? Also is it normal for the motor to be spitting out fuel from the carb intake opening when the engine runs at idle? I have tried leaning the low end to the point that the motor dies when I throtle up. Also the mid range continues sputter no matter what I do. I have tried the OS #8 plug with no results. It may sound like I don't know how to tune an engine but I have been doing this for 20 plus years and have had multiple motors from Moki to OS and Saitos and have never had the problem that I have had with this motor. I have even tried to take the carb out and clean it and try moving the spray bar a few degrees in both directions. I need you help. You have been very responsive to all my questions And I commend you for it.

The Bisson muffler may not provide enough fuel pressure for good fuel flow at full throttle. Flying it will tell you.

As far as the carb's concerned, a bit of fuel spitting at low throttle is common and normal. Only an air filter or velocity stack would eliminate most of it.

Richness in the midrange is also very common. If you go with a lower-nitro fuel, you'll find the carb easier to adjust, with less spitting at the low end and a better midrange. 5% nitro is about the best, with about 10%-12% oil content, all castor.
