OK bogging down a little. Is this your first nitro? These engines run with rpms varying from 3000 to 40000 rpms. when your engine is finally broken in slightly lean it out because break in settings are rich. If it is almost redlning then richen it 1/16 to be safe. It sounds to me like your One Way Bearig is slipping on your 2-speed assembly. take apart your 2-speed and remove the OWB (use your manual for a schematic). Soak your OWB in denatured alcohol. If you don't have any then brake cleaner or a autaomotive degreaser solvent will work such as carb cleaner. I used Birchwood Casey'e gun scrubber (used on firearms and available at Wal-Mart) on mine. Keep in mind to not get these solvent on plastics. Let the OWB dry and oil it using WD-40 or OWB oil. reassemble and try it out.

Silla even when a engine is very rich once it heats to operating temp it leans out a bit and as long as the engine is running it should atleast go faster then a walking pace, It's probly the OWB and needs to be cleaned, Due to lack of Detail we cant really tell you exactly wuts going on until you give us FULL DETAIL! tells us if your engine is revving and not going anywhere or does it just stall. Info plz

I totally agree here, and not just for a Mach engine or any other Losi engine, but for ALL of or car/truck nitro engines. These manuals have the needle setting so rich that trying to start them at factory setting is nearly impossible.

For me, whenever I start any engine, especially for breaking it in, I always preheat the engine to 200degrees F (or as close to it as possible). I do use the factory setting as a starting point, but I have turned the needles in by as much as a whole turn to get the engine right for break-in.

It's funny that the Losi Manual and the Engine Manuals are All Different thought......

This is from the Aftershock Manual,

Base Start-up Settings from the factory
High-Speed Needle 3 turns out from bottom
Low-Speed Needle 3 turns out from bottom

And this is From the M26SS Manual,
We suggest the following settings for breaking in your engine:

High-Speed Needle: 3 turns out (counterclockwise)from closed.
Low-Speed Needle: 2 1/4 turns out (counterclockwise)from closed.

This is from the LST2 Manual,

Base Start-up Settings from the factory
High-Speed Needle 4 turns out from bottom
Low-Speed Needle 2 turns out from bottom

and From the 427 Manual,
We suggest the following settings for breaking in your engine:

High-Speed Needle: 2 1/2 turns out (counterclockwise)
from closed.
Low-Speed Needle: 2 1/2 turns out (counterclockwise)
from closed.

This is from the LST1 Manual,

Base Start-up Settings from the factory
High-Speed Needle 2 1/2 turns out from bottom
Low-Speed Needle 2 turns out from bottom

And the Mach 26 Manual,
We suggest the following settings for breaking in your engine:

High-Speed Needle: 3 1/2 turns out (counterclockwise)
from closed.
Low-Speed Needle: 2 turns out (counterclockwise)
from closed.
