Hello all,
After a 10 year or so hiatus ,I'm back to Race ! Trying to get my old Revlution setup and trimmed ,using my last radio ,which is a
Futaba 8 channel .I used to use a Futaba Super 7 with great results and that was my racing radio before .I'm trying now to use the 8 channel transmitter I used for Sport and fun Fly .
Problem : I can't figure out ,so far , how to reduce Only the down elevator movement .When I learned to do that before ,it was a great thing to have setup ,
however I have slept since then ,and or this radio works different in the setup .I've tried several ways but can't get it . Any Racers that are Futaba radio set up knowledgeable ,
please give me the answer .
Thanks for any help .

Steve,
I don't have that radio so I can't tell you exactly how to do it. However I gotta ask, do you have the manual for it? If not you can go to the Futaba website and download one for free.
http://www.futabarc.com/manuals/index.html
Scan down about halfway you should find your radio.

Hope this helps.

Vic

I answered on the NMPRA forum also, but I assume you are talking about the 8uaf style transmitter??

If so, you can change in either ATV or DR.

The trick is you have to push the elevator stick forward to adjust the down throw, and pull it back to adjust your up.

Aileron works the same way, but you have to go left or right.

I prefer to use DR, but you need to adjust both high and low rates.

Dave's suggestion does not work on a standard 8UA transmitter - maybe on a "Super", but not on a standard 8UA. The standard 8UA only has one value for high rate, and only one value for low rate. You cannot differentiate between up and down on elevators or left and right on ailerons while in the DR menu. You can on the 9CAP and greater. I have wrestled with this one myself, and replaced my old beater 8UAP for this exact reason.

I have read too many responses from people who are just guessing.

Not guessing,

Yep, mine is the S (Super Version). Didn't know the non S couldn't do that.

Sorry for the bad info.
