Really cool thread Skip! Sorry to be so long replying. Just got back from a cruise vacation. I have a Kwik Fli III kit and am torn between building it exactly as they were "back in the day" (silk and dope, Enya .60 etc.) or similar to what you've done. I was really impressed by an electric Taurus flown by John Jennings at the recent Fort Worth vintage pattern contest. My electric R/C knowlege would easily fit on the head of a pin, though. I've wondered if an electric power combo could be put together to power a ballistic type plane, that would be similar to the power available from a piped .60? It would have to turn an 11x7-8 or 12 in prop at 13,000-15,000 rpm. I also recently acquired an original Bob Smith T2-A kit, and I'm chomping at the bit to get that one one going. Congrats and good luck with your elec Kaos! Dewey
