detox -> What causes lipo packs to swell? (5/1/2008 1:48:16 AM)

I think my small Venom balance charger is overcharging my packs because they are begining to swell a little. I checked packs voltage after charging and they are a little bit higher than the max 4.2 volts per cell (cells meaure 4.262 volts per cell). Does overcharging cause Lipo packs to swell? Are my Venom Lipo packs permanently damaged? Thanks?

Just did a little searching and It could bethat they got overdischarged or there just faulty.

From what I was reading you should NOT use the pack any more.
