Status: online 		I got my Midwest CAP 232 in EP ... hehehehee ... best you wanna use is as follows ... does not mean use the same brands but get items that are akin to it:

Motor - AXI 5330/18, DualSky XM6360-12 (DS is ok but lacks power)
ESC - any 90A HV as a minimum
Batts - 10S or 12S, capable of giving contantly 100A would be great, you should be drawing about 60A only for good aerobatic flight, I am on Flight Power EVO25 5S 4,900 x2 in series
Prop - 19x10 to 22x8 thereabouts

Please ensure you have a safety shunt, a circuit breaker so that there is no circuit when you install your batts ... its a good safety measure!

Status: offline 		I converted a Nitroplanes Extra 300 using a Hacker 6016 motor, 10s2p A123 pack and a Hyperion 100A 12cell ESC.
It weighs 17 lbs- a little heavy so it lands hard. No 3D.
It flies about 8 minutes if I am easy on the throttle.
Batteries are permanently installed and can be recharged in 15 minutes in the airplane.

ok guy's maybe someone can help me understand..


I'v been dealing with Lipos now for a while..

as I undersand..

10S - 10Cell Pack - if its A123 cells that's 3.3v\Cell = ~33V

if one says... 10S2P - does that means series or parralel ?

ie ( 33V with 2X the Capacity ? ) or ( hmm I would think so right ? 66V is way to much :-) )

ok so maybe I answered my Question..
