Hello everyone, I have a question about my LiPo battery and charger. First off I am running a 20/30c 2300mah 3 cell LiPo. I have a Hyperion EOS 5idp charger with a Equinox balancer/interface. I have charged my gell cell/NIMH with no issues at all, the charger will always "auto stop". I am hesitant to let the charger stop on it's own with the LiPo becuase the voltage inticated on the charger is 12.4 volts. The pack states that I should not exceed 4.2 per cell. I guess I am a little iffy with letting the charger stop on it's own when it gets close to the packs voltage limit. On a side note, when I charge my 5 cell 2/3 A NIMH it will charge to 7.022 volts then shutoff. Obviously the pack is designed to hold 6 volts. Thanks for the help guys and gals.

Well, it should stop at 12.6 don't be afraid to let it go. Watch current start to taper off when 12.6 is reached.

On the nimh pack , the voltage can be irrelevant and it could be anywhere between 7 and 10 volts depending upon how fast it is being charged.
