On The Patch! -> Safe to remove heatshrink? (5/2/2008 9:10:01 PM)

Hi all!

I've got some Hyperion Litestorm 2s1p packs for my indoor-planes. I am on a weight hunt and I am just wondering if I can remove the outer heat-shrink? I know it voids the warranty, but I would still like to do it. Anything to watch out for? Danger of short-circuit?

Sincerely
Johan

It will just make them more vulnerable to damage. Make sure you don't puncture the mylar envelope.
