babflyer -> RE: Slash or desert truck (5/8/2008 10:02:41 PM)

the slash is longer which should improve handling and stability in slides, wheels look to be close to the same diameter. buggies handle fine with small wheels and less ground clearance. The losi is just a "cheap" entry level same as usual stadium truck. The slash is atleast something different and the price is pretty good for something unusual. I am going to get one. I really wish it was four wheel drive and not two wheel drive though because they would have had something many more folks would have wanted. I think the slash may not be spot on as far as looking scale but its a lot closer than the losi, as mentioned before no real baja or doda series truck has wheels that wide compared to the rest of the truck and that far away from the body, a real truggy isn't even that way. A scale truggy body with a tad narrower setup, more of a b4 setup with scale tires as far as width might work descent and sell just because of the appearance to bashers. I race some, have my own track and I enjoy some of these more scale vehicles just to play with sometimes.
