Shadow99 -> Multiple Heli's on 1 TX?! (5/3/2008 12:03:52 AM)

My Spektrum DX7 is supposily capable of setting up multiple heli's on one TX unit, but it seems the original model data goes to "bit-heaven [:@]," when you call model 1 back up, or did I mess something up?
I went to set-up model 2 (a T-rex 500), named it, set-up the model parameters & bound the RX. Then I decided to go back to model 1, my MX300 (was an AXE CP), and all the set-up data was GONE! Thank goodness I wrote everything down after I had it set-up & flying well, but it still baffles me on what happened to all the flight parameters for model 1 [:o], and I'm I gonna have to do this every time I switch between the 2 heli's [:'(]?

How many others out there are using one TX unit on multiple heli's & is it as simple as calling up the model # and binding the RX then go flying?

Thanks Guys,

Shadow

I have a DX7,and yes it is simple,once you get the hang of programming it. I was accidently hitting the copy model function,and wiping out my previous model in the TX. I have 3 jets(1 is a DF) 5 3-D planes,and a CX2 and BH450Se heli. in there. Still got 10 to go![:D] Ron

Thanks Ron,
That's just the response I needed! [:D]
I must have done the same thing with the copy function (trying to save time w/ set-up), what's the purpose of a COPY function that DELETES as it copies? Maybe I'll continue to backup the model parameters to paper, just incase Murphy's Law shows up to help.

Thanks Again!
