I have just finished resurecting my TT-01..
I used it for a race in Silvercan class about a year ago and chewed the stock 61T Spur gear running some unheard of ratio just to stay competitive which resulted in the TT-01 being really quick but short term reliability..

So I have no 19T pinions or 61 Spur... I do have a 24T Pinion and a 58T Spur and will be using a Tamiya TZ to get her back up and drifting..

What is the Opinion on this combo???

Sounds good m8 i use 23/58 for drifting and it holds fine plenty of torque and nice long speed drifts on a 17turn.

Im interested which combo u used on that 61 spur bro...

Well...

I pushed the Boundaries of the TT-01 to the Max and used a 25T on the 61 Spur and.........

1 screw in the motor mount done ULTRA tight.. used the paper Spacer method for the Mesh...

So as you can see... whilst the TT-01 was Brilliantly fast...... it was.... unreliable...
and would grip flip on corners and after each race would require a total strip down and re- spur..
Good thing about that cover over the TT-01 gears , quick to undo and replace the Spur before the next race..
I worked the Custom Gearing on Gearchart and needed a roll out of around 30.... and that combo was as close as I could get...

All I can say is a Quick test run revealed some rear end problem... but.... Man with the TZ and the 24T/ 58 Gearing.... its Quick !
There is just something about the TT-01 that makes you just wanna drive it harder!

Lol tell me about it even tho they werent built for speed ive been running a 10x2 motor on a nolimit esc and it keeps up with my mates 5700 mm
Every time it whizzes past the noise just makes me smile gotta love elecy hehe

Havent tried 25/55 yet on the 10t got a feeling it would be pushing the gearing a bit much lol

Well I Did some rough Calcuelations..
I know my LRP V10 Spec 4 10x2T does 45.000rpm
The diametre of my Foam Racing tyres is 62mm
So using Gear chart and that combo you have there..

A Theoretical top speed of 91.96kph is possible...
(this doesn't take into account Voltage, drag and friction)
