I'm INSANELY JEALOUS! Have hoped to get out to SD the last 2 years for the races, and just can't make it. So on you. *heh*

Second of all...

There's some nice shots in there! #118, which is "Ducks271.jpg", is absolutely STUNNING. Fantastic technically, and really captures the "soul" of the series and the races. As a semi-professional photographer, I don't say this often, but I'll HAPPILY pay you for a high-resolution copy of that, to hang on my shop wall. That's just spectacular.

Status: offline 		Thank you for your kind words, I'm just a newbie with this Digital SLR stuff but all in all I am pleased with how many of the pictures look. I think when you blow them up you will see the edges blurr a little as I still didn't get a crisp shot.

Send me your Email and I will forward the Jpegs to you.

I added some more from Saturdays qualfying. Bonhome is the smoothest and fastest so far. I spent my day within the Red Bull area and never again will I do that. It is so mobbed it gets tense. Everyone trying to hold the ground thier two feet are standing on.

The other side of the bay (which is non paying) offers a far better back drop, better light and far less crowded. I just had to give the Red Bull area a go. I will leave this much fun for the young uns. But it does offer extra thrills and frills as the clsoe up video of each racer as he is flying along on the BIG screens with commentary is excellent along with other entertainment thats cool

Yeah, I could tell several of them had some fuzzy edges...it's all about practice! I developed a knack for panning by shooting NHL hockey games, actually. Spend a season down low shooting THOSE guys, and even F-16's seem slow. *heh* Believe me...it took a few thousand shots to get consistent with it.

Keep the shots coming, man!
