Cool, at least you guy's are including a decent motor. And ya that x-can works great. Cheap way to give some power, plus it's bash proof. Looks good guy's.

Our first shipments are coming with the CY23cc engine (same one HPI uses) and tuning info is all over the internet. We recommend getting a pipe for it, but currently the X-can will bolt right on since there is no pipe that needs to be manipulated to make it fit through the roll cage or body. There are some other pipes you can use, but I personally love the X-Can.

We are working with one of the large pipe fabricators in the U.S. to make one just for our models and of course we will have one from the factory soon as well.

Expect a lot of great things to come, but a pipe is something we highly recommend right off the bat to get more power and of course to have them sound better too.

Darin

Will the pipe that you are going to sell be made of steel or aluminum?

I'm pretty sure tuned pipes are steel (especially in large scale) It is heavier but aluminum would be more expensive.

OK folks, the hop-ups have started. There will be heavy duty dogbones, heavy duty shock shafts, and some other goodies when the first shipment arrives.

so what your saying is the stock ones arent good enough, so here are some better ones...thats not a good start .....pipes a goody

why not just throw all the good stuuf on there and charge for it ...1-the base model(no pipe or hopups)... & the heavy duty model (pipe heavy duty dogbones, heavy duty shock shafts, ect.)

Just a suggestion

No, what I am saying is the people who want to beat the crap out of their truck and put 6 HP motors int here will need some better things. Just like everything in life, some people are going to want the best. The 23cc engine will be fine for some, but you know what happens next. More power equals more abuse. I have a CC Racing Engine coming for mine, and I want to be able to put the pwoer to the ground for hours on end.

Well, the pricing is up on Redcat's site:

http://www.redcatracing.com/15scale.asp

For those prices, I will be getting both of them.

June 9th seems to be the day. You will need to find a distributor that gets one or 2 from the first shipment.

Will the pipe on the Baja 5b SS work on that truck? Also what type of engines can be put in that truck? Can the truck be purchased without the engine?

I will have to try the HPI pipe this weekend. It looks like it will fit fine. You can put any of the RC engines in there, from the CY23 to the 30.5 and any of the Zenoahs.
