Status: offline 		I'm the head of my college's UAV club and were looking into either investing in a complete autopilot system, or building one from the ground up (however we don't have the experience, but have the resources to learn).

I've been looking for a moderately priced autopilot system, but it seems that they are all very expensive (our budget is about $2000), especially once you get into ground stations or data uplink.

I've been looking at these manufacturers products:

I basically would like something that has way point navigation and can be flown RC then with the flip of a switch do a route routine.

We would like to get a footing on how this stuff works, and I figure the best way to do this is by first implementing an existing system, seeing how it works, and going from there.
