dashunde -> Charging Nimh's? (Hydrimax) (5/4/2008 4:29:54 PM)

How are they supposed to be charged?
How do you set the charger vs. what the pack capacity is?

Also, can the Hydrimax 4.8v Rx packs be charged with the standard Tx/Rx wall charger that comes with Futaba radios?
What about the 6.0v five cell Rx packs?

I've got a Grenpow 3300mah 4.8v - four 4/3a cells.
Its a pack from a power tool, and I dont have the original charger.
How should I charge it?

I have two main chargers that I use..
Dynamite Vision Peak Ultra

Hobbico Quick Field Charger MkII

Always slow charge HYDRI at C/10 rate with peak offf for 14 hours...

If these are high current packs then after 5 cycles at slow C/10 your can go to 3 Amps with 4 to 6 mV peak detection
