Are they toast? It's been about 6 months since they have been charged. Is there a way to bring them back?

I would start by examine them for squishyness and check voltage on each cell.

What happens to them when current is delivered to them?
I guess what I'm asking is what you mean by "won't take a charge"?

I don't know alot about lipos yet myself but if you supplied more info like what battery, 2s ,3s etc. And what the voltage is now and what each cell's voltage is and the charger your trying to charge with is. One of experts around here will be more then able to answer your question I bet.
