After getting 24 loose cells due to false advertising describing these as 6-cell "packs" (I think they now changed their site to say loose cells, but only for the 6-cell pack which is the one I complained about) and getting ZERO response to emails and phone calls (messages, they don't answer the phone), building the packs myself, and running them through only ONE, count that...ONE, cycle...2 packs are dead!

After one run, the first pack had a hissing and popping cell that leaked electrolyte. It still seems to take charge, but it's now untrustworthy. The second pack has a completely dead cell! The other cells seem ok, but that one cell is gone. So two packs out of four are useless, 50% yield...real quality. Having read so many great comments about Ener-G cells, I thought I'd give them a try, hoping to see better performance and reliability than off-the-shelf stuff from Tower and other hobby shops. Turns out, I'm out $100 because the vendor, Team Brood, doesn't take care of their customers after they get the money and the cells are far from reliable (dead after one run is NOT reliable).

I'm clearly frustrated and disappointed that my hobby that was to take my mind off frustrations from other sources is now a source of frustration. I'm posting this up to possibly help others in making a wiser choice for batteries. Even though I have 2 packs that still seem to be ok (after one run...we'll see how it goes for the next few runs), meaning others will have packs that may work for a while, their product yield and total lack of customer support should be taken into consideration for those looking to purchase these cells. Even if yours works now, if somethings happens, you won't get any service and you'll be stuck with expensive paper weights.

Yeah I remember reading another post about Brood. The guy couldnt get a hold of CS at all just like you. Thanks for the heads up. I will not order from them. I like a company that can at least respondin a timely manner.
