I counted 15 jets today.

Not bad for a weekday warmup with the fellas. Today was a lot of fun burning kero with the bros.

We didn't have all the bros, so it could have been better

Sung, I'm gonna camp out Saturday night and bring out my new 1/4 scale PNP Cub for after hours...do you think it will run on Jet-A?

On a side note here... CHino Air show is the weekend of the 17th So there has been alot of traffic lately. The other day I heard the thunder of what I thought to be the mig, and 86. I live SW of departure just over the 71. It wasnt the 86, and the mig but 2 YF 22's in tight with each other. proabably about 1500 AGL direclty over the house... MAN what a cool image.. First time I've seen those in real life. Unbelievable, car alarms going off everywhere. Made the 18's sound like a mouse fart...

I've got one of those (H9) 1:4 scale jobs too. It's set up to carry a vid cam. Has RCA jacks in the fuse side to plug a monitor into.
Pretty cool. The Coredude used to fly the daylights outta that beast.

I got the weekend off right now, kinda . I want to bring the F86 and a few other big birds. It's no fun dragging all that stuff just for a few hours. How about your Hawk, you bringing that one and the Draken?

If that F-86 is the same one that Dianna just made wing bags for, it is crazy big. I mean one wing panel is like 5 or 6 feet long.

If you ever saw Shalesh Patel's F-86, it's the same kit. Awesome looking and flying jet. I saw it fly at BITW at Prado back in 04, I think.

Hi David,

Yep, that must be the one, I saw Shalish fly his polished one at Superman maybe in 2001 (can remember the year, but it was awhile back).

Bruce Faber has the big F-86 that Joe Grice built for him and he has that big F-16 (the 1/5 scale) that was at CA Jets, not sure if he will have them at LA Jets, I will ask.
