Has anyone found a good alternative the the Axe vertical stabilizer and that goofy little pin that screws into the bottom of it? It seems like I'm finally getting the landing thing down but as soon as the tail end gets down, it bends the pin and eventually breaks off inside the stabilizer.

thanks

Just remove the pin, you really dont need it anyway. The tail rotor's radius is smaller than the fin, so ground contact is still avoided.
After 5 broken vertical stabilizers, I have switched to carbon fiber. Yes, a bit pricey, but worth the investment. For me anyway.
