Hi I have the red smart charger from tenergy. I'm trying to charge a 1500mah dyna-fun nicd 6 cell battery pack. It charged for awhile and the red light was solid, then when I checked the red light is now flashing. It stated that it will go to green but it never did.

Is that a new battery? If so, it will take forever for that light to go green. Just go use the battery like normal and then (after it cools) charge it again. It might take 3 or 4 cycles like this before the battery reaches peak performance - no worries.
