An older fellow at our club that scratch builds everything he flies, gave me his Wellington today! I have flown it for him in the past and have always appreciated/complimented his building skills. I have picked on him about selling it to me for a year and the other day he handed me the wing and said, "lets see if we can get this in your corvette!" He gave it to me and would not accept any money. He told me to enjoy it. What a nice guy. He removed the engines and left all the servos, retracts, etc. He builds everything strictly from scratch and draws his own plans, etc. The Wellington has retracts and a bomb opening on the bottom that holds 4 bombs that can be dropped. Pretty cool stuff for sure. It pays to be nice and helpful for sure!
