Will shortening the wires on the Hitec servos void the warrenty?

Not if you splice them but technically it will if you solder to the board.

We're pretty good about taking care of our customers though so unless you totally botch it we would probalby still cover any unrelated warranty repairs.

Mike.

Thanks Mike! I was actually going to cut and replace the connectors. Already have spare connectors and I have the special crimping tool already but I wanted to make sure. I purchase 3 HS-985MG two for steering and one for throttle and brake. Biggest reason I went with Hitec was the service I have been reading about.

One last question for you Mike, do you know the current draw on three of those servos at 6volts?
