RCPete,
Do you have any afiliation with the Delaware R/C club or have contact with the CD?

I've sent out several E-mail questionaires to their web site contacts regarding pilot pre-registration information and general questions; haven't heard from anyone.

I intend to drive up from Miami with the 12' trailer (I know - its insane!) and like to know in advance about the set-up, tent positioning, crew passes, flight times, etc.

Isn't this the first year they're charging pilot fees?

Thanks, NICK

ADD: Sorry Nick, I didn't realize that you were the one I spoke to on the phone last week. I just realized that after I sent this post.

For silk screening purposes, there are always some minor differences between the event artwork and the printed T-shirt. I believe that the yellow/tan shading has been dropped and the state color is slightly different.

I believe that the shirts are already done. Pete would see the shirts before I would (they keep me hidden in the back room....away from the general public ).

I will check the details.

Best,
Brian

Pete,
I called a couple of the motels listed on your website. Nightly rates range from $110.00 to $140.00. Is this the usual summer, beltway rate? Any group/event rates available?

Also, are those T-shirts available at this time for ordering? Just T-shirts, or possibly denim shirts with that logo?

Thanks,
NICK

When is the event? Is the general public welcome? How much is entry for spectators? What about parking? I assume you are flying at the flying field?

I call myself a newbie as I am re-entering the hobby after a long hiatus and I was a student back then.Lost the ability to create time to fly.Now my 9 year old son has expressed interest and I thought it would be a good time to get back in.

the park has small fee to enter the park(we do not get that money)we sell a pit pass that will let you get to the flight to talk to the pilots and see the planes up close,no charge for kids. kid must be with parents. parking is no problem. hope to see you there. Pete
