Hello,

Anyone familiar with the honey bee FP? I have 5 nickle batteries like this: http://www.xheli.com/ek1-0100.html

here is the charger that is supposed to be used for the batteries: http://www.xheli.com/ek1-0052.html

I'm wondering if I can some how use some other type of wall adapter. Anything to look for like voltage, amp etc that I can try to match up?

Thanks.

Xheli didn't send an adapter with my kit. I called thier two phone support numbers listed on thier website and on the first number nobody answers after I let it ring a billion times. On the second number, An automated pickup repeats the phrase "Thank you, Good bye" over and over again.

Hi,
I think you could use a different charger with the same specs (input: 120vac, 60 hz, 60mA. Output: 12vdc, 300mA) but to get one with the same fitting may be tough. For another solution, I bought a 7.4V Lipo 800mAh from Xheli for $14.95. It lasts longer and lighter and more power so you can fly easier. Xheli says you can't use them on the Honeybee FP but you can. Their tech support sucks. I already had a charger that came with my Belt CP so I didn't have to buy that. I've lately seen good deals on the same type battery on Ebay. I haven't had problems with Xheli yet except for answering questions because like you said, they never answer their phones or they give wrong answers, but I try to stay away from them as they are constanly out of parts. good luck.
