It's a good thing you don't know what you're talking about.

Pictures and video's can be seen at the HPI website if you're *THAT* anxious. I've seen Mike's truck...it's not a hoax or anything if that's what you're implying.

settle down big man i was joking so chill

Mine was born, yesterday at 5:30pm...Orange...and weighing in at 11.12 and a half naked...

I somehow managed to get a little throttle happy during my 4th tank, and got her on her back....thus...ripping the antenna off and nearly resulting in a run away...(man I love DSM)

While I was replacing the RX and setting model memory and EPA's in the DX3R....I realized that the throttle was never really going full throttle....And if it were to, it would make the TRS hit and rub on the slipper nut...I tried to rearrange it by hanging the spring on the little loop at the end of the throttle link end(dunno technical name), but only managed to stretch the stocker TRS out of shape....Not to mention that the stocker T/B servo and saver are kinda weak..the way they assembled it, makes it bind...as strange as that may be.....So I installed a LST2 TRS, and by golly....it's like it was meant for it...the throttle no longer binds...perfectly butter smooth...and returns to full close like a champ... #-o

Some random shots...The LST2 body is kinda just hanging there, as I did a bang up job to get it to fit the Muggerfication...I normally use the Muggy body, but it looks like butt....

So far I like it...it's pretty quik on it's feet, and seems like it handles so much better than my old .25 out of the box....Hopefully it won't rain today, and I can get some more fuel through it, find a happy tune, and jump it around a bit...

Hey, on youtube, they pictured a roll cage extender (engine protector) included in the package. I just wanted to clarify this with you guys who got the XL. Does it come with an engine protector that can be installed like the Savage X one?

Is it a longer version of the Savage X one? Cause in the youtube vid, it seemed like it was just as long and i dont see how it would fit. Its probably just me though.

That I could not tell you for sure, cause I don't own a Savage X....
But I would think that the XL's guard is longer than the X, judging by the amount of space between the roll bar/handle and the rear shock tower...

Ok, well whether its longer than the X or not is not so important. What im wondering is how it fits, ive never seen one installed on an XL yet, so im wondering how its mounted since it looks to be too short to reach all the way back.
