....some engines just lean out in flight more than others, and need to be set way, way richer than what you would expect at launch. I set a .15 engine for a guy a few years back, and it needed 12 clicks richer than what he had it set. Launching an engine that rich doesn't seem right to the some. It takes about 2 full laps for the engine to get to its full blast setting, and up to full heat. It will be running rich till then. I never figured out why the smaller engines need to be set this way. After the second lap the engine will be set at it's optimum full heat, full throttle run....and will reward the operater with a good, long flight. If a small engine is over propped, it will make the problem worse. FBD. [sm=wink_smile.gif]
