Hi,new to this area of drag racing r/c's. Wanted to know who's sells drag cars kits or part or cars. Want to get into r/c drag racing.

Thanks! Has anyone seen or done putting a nitro motor inline of the rear axle? What I have a body and the motor got to sit in the center area of the body.

I am a little confused... are you talking about a quickdrive tranny like some electrics have?

That is what I am working on. I am using a solid aluminum rod for the rear axle and making a hub to mount spur gear, and mounting the engine sideways.
I don't know how well it will do, but I will find out soon enough.

Not at the moment. My machine will be here tuesday. I think on the chassis I will use two thin sheets of aluminum for the sides and make tiny mounts to bolt the sides together. I will post pics asap.

Just so I am on the same page...

You are talking about a direct drive trans but, for nitro, correct?

Very cool idea! Post some pics or start a build thread!
