hi guys i have just bought a kyosho blizzard ev nitro, thing is the drive chain keeps coming slack i have to re tighten it every couple of minutes, it seems a really crap set up, anyone else had this problem or better still any ideas how to fix it.

all I can suggest is try taking a link out of the chain and see if that helps
also I suggest that you undo the nuts holding the track drive wheels and pull the axle towards the front of the blizzard and then do up the nuts again and see if that has tensioned the drive chains

hi, thanks for your reply, tensioning the chains is quite easy the problem is they keep slipping loose, the shaft on the front cog wheel is held with a tiny screw which seems to be the problem and being awkward to get to with a screwdriver its hard to tighten and i'm slowly rounding the screw head off, i'm thinking of replacing that shaft with a nut and bolts rather than that shaft and screw set up unless anyone has any other ideas or has had this problem

Do you use threadlock to keep the screw in place? I do not have a problem with my drivetrain but then again I do use threadlock and I have the screw head point outwards so it is easy to get to in case I need to adjust it.
