Broward? This not Broward, this is Dade County. Anyways, I see what you have there Finest and I can see its going to be a terror. I know youve been told about my little project. It will hopefully be up and running this weekend and then I'll take some pics and post some vids.

OOoppsss, sorry guys, thought that was Broward. Oh well, if its in Fl its cool with me I cant imagine ever living anywhere I cant run my toys year round. And screw shoveling snow.

And, shameless bump so I can keep track of this thread, you guys build some killer cars.

Ok guys here goes.......... even tho this might upset some of you YES THE CAR IS A FT TC4 running off a brushless lipo set up, even tho i em what you consider a nitro fanatic, im more of a SPEED fanatic so either way i get up to speed i dont really care like always i just wanna be the fastest i can be and to pull that off nitro is geting left way behind PLUS for once in my life i wanted a car that didnt involve custom this custom that, i just wanted something i could pull off a shelf and put together and this was finally the car to do it with and guys i gotta tell u i should have done this a long time ago this is a one time project i dont plan on building anything else brushless this is just a one time deal!!! with that sayed here is a look at the car that with just one pass became my favorite car to drive

as you can see its a pretty simple set up with the mamba 5700 motor running a flight power 4cells with a 30C rating, carbon fiber center drive shaft and some gearing............also i dropped in a HPI DBOX to keep the car in a str8 line no matter what.......there is no way i can loose the rear end of the car now and it runs great

today was the first time i got to drive the car and pulled out a clean 103MPH with the motor still running cool with still more room for more gearing tomorrow im picking up a smaller spur gear with the hopes i can hit 110+MPH ill keep you guys updated, for now i dont have a video but i do got one sweet sweet sweet pic for you guys

PS im looking for some very streamline 1/10 pan car bodies...... anyone got any ideas??? the zonda works good but im sure there is a better body out there with more downforce

This is the first time I seen one of those zonda bodies, that thing looks good, wish it would fit my fusion21. Looks like it took a slide on the front end.

Slide??? LOL my only complain is keeping the car on the ground, im not hitting rocks or bumps the sucker is just catching air and takeing off its really impressive........i ran the car in the after noon and this night to compare the acelleration of the brushless to a 100 MPH nitro rs4.......and honestly guys the nitro rs4's look like parked cars compared to the this car..........u should see my body as off right now.......ITS REALLY REALLY busted up compared to the pic your looknig at!! and the car only has about 30 minuets of run time on it, its sad becuase its a awsome body and its already really banged up

Haha, I believe you, I knew you wouldnt keep that car on the ground with the body on it running those high speeds. Good thing you took that pic to have for memories of what it use to look like. Know nothing about electrics except that the brushless setups kill nitros all day.

miami, nice project man. I too have thought and still may build the same system in a TC3 as well since seeing that one for over 135 MPH with the basic parts that you have. Definately keep this post posted.

While the claimed 135mph is impressive, you do have to keep in mind that he is using a venom speed meter. It is not exactly accurate in its calibration, not to mention it does not take into account wheel spin, nor the wear which he has put on his tires. that being said, his car does seem to be hauling some ass. I just don't know if it's record-breaking fast. We'll see when he posts up the video with a radar gun.
