Does the 9303 have digital trim on the throttle? Or is it still the 3+one stuff that is on the 8303 A?

only the 9303 that is made for ASIA
it called 9X-II
the original 9X is the same as our 9303
the II version have a digi TH trim

Did some noodling about: the chopper version has the 3+one

But.. (there's always a but) the digi engine kill on the 9303 airplane version is different (strange?) compared to brand F.

No flames please just two ways to do the same thing.

I am trying to get the travel adjust to work on all three flight mode positions. I am only successful in only one mode. Is this possible??

No.
Horizon sells only JR/Spektrum 3+1 as specifically developed for them and the US market. The exception was the DX7.

The desire on throttle trim was well established by Horizon a few years back via the designated choice of the US JR fliers.
You will also find that the new 12X is also 3+1 as was the 10X, at least for the US market.
