Status: offline 		If your using the red 8 cell NiCD 9.6V battery then you just slide in the other battery. Whats this tray you speak of? There is a tray you can buy so you can use AA batteries, if thats what you are talking about. Its simple just take it out, its not rocket science.

Status: offline 		mine didnt come with a rechargable battery but a tray for aa batteries. but i've gotten it out since i've made the post

Now you can install either a Hobbico HydriMax 9.6V 1650mAh NiMH Flat battery or this Li-po 11.1V
