Anyone have one of these? Is the canopy nice? I mean for a co-axial. The pictures look cool.

I have one. The canopy is very thin, but looks pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was the matte color of the canopy. It would look alot better if it was glossy. I did need to reinforce behind the front wheel after several hard landings. I've beat it up pretty good. It's dropped from more then 30' a couple of times due to blade strikes. My fualt really for thinking I could fly it outside in the wind. The real ones fly around my house all the time so I couldn't resist getting one of these to fly inside.

Got Mine Yesterday,
Gave it a try in a light breeze outside.. (Bad Idea)... Now have to put a new blade on it.. LOL.. Live and learn!
I agree, wish the canopy and fusealage were both Gloss instead of matte finish. I'm a former Coastie, so this was a natural purchase for me.
Love the bird though.. no problems with it as of yet.. hovers nicely.

If you get the longer inner shaft you will pretty much cure the blade strike problem.

Well,
I thought a landing in the grass in the front yard would be preferable to dumping the nose against the sidewalk, But it turns out you tend to trash the lower blade set easier when you do that!! Yikes, Now I have to head to the Hobby Shop and try to get more blades.. Why are these things so darned fragile?

Try to find the hardest blades you can. I found some from a company called nine egles. They make a small co axial and the blades don't flex like the stock ones. So I don't get blade clack and can fly in some wind also.I think it handles better in the wind due to less coning of the blades. These blades can take a hit to. The Xtreme blades are a harder blade also.

Yes,
The stock blades to allow for blade clack!! I was just out, it was dead calm, then a light breeze came in as I was taking off, and all heck broke loose, killed the throttle and she dropped to the deck hard, nothing broken, but a nick in one of the leading edges.. sheesh..
Problem is, I don't have space for indoor flight, so I am stuck right now stepping out when the breeze is light, and or gone.
