Is the E-flite 3S 11.1V LiPo Balancing Charger, 1.8A any better than the stock charger that came with the CX2.

Can it charge 7.4V batteries as well. 11.1V and 1.8A will fry the CX2 battery.

I think he see's the overall charging capacities.
I think it is the same, those e-sky chargers are not that great at balancing. try a align charger or simiiar if you want a good charger.
You get what you pay for. IMO
I'm sure someone has good links but I use http://www.ushobbysupply.com/product_info.php?cPath=57&products_id=403&osCsid=cce88257f4e124d3b4b4a021846584dd

If you use a 3 cell lipo charger on a 2 cell lipo, you had better be
outside when you hook it up because its gonna blow up...

You better read up on the care and handling of lipo's. They are VERY
dangerous.

The stock Blade 400 charger puts out 1.8amps and the stock CX charger puts out .65 amps. The B400 charger will charge the B400 battery in about and hour and the CX charger will charge the B400 battery in about 3-4 hours. The B400 charger WILL NOT charge a 7.4 volt battery, it does not have the correct terminal.
+1 to poor balancing. The charger does an ok job, but check the balance leads every 5 charges or so with a volt meter to help monitor the voltages. For the price of a new charger ($60) I would rather just buy a second battery for now.
