I got my car yesterday. I start the break in process by running 3 full tanks at idle. Then this morning I start it up let it idle for a bit then I start the slow run around break in... this is all I did so far...

During the slow run around, I almost had to give it full throttle to get it going. Its spitting out all kinds of sticky fuel out of the muffler. It doesnt shift into reverse nor into any other gear.. I think it might be stuck in a gear or something.. anyways I dont know what to do.. I have only ever had a Tmaxx and I still have never had to do anything on that truck so this is all fairly new to me.

THanks for any help.

You might have to lean it out a little, but keep it rich so it get's the extra oil it needs for break in. Does everything move freely when you spin it by hand, gears, diffs, all the moving parts. Sounds like your bogging out from the extra fuel/oil.

okay so the shop I found is pretty well known around these parts...(they are big time because they are the only ones with a track around here) He has had my car since the 7th and he still does not have it right.. so i left it with him still.. I read on here that one of you sent your car in and they tuned it up? Is there a way that I can do that? Even if there is a fee I dont care I would just like to use my car the weather is getting amazing!!!

okay so i got it back runs just like it should other then 2 things....

It keeps wanting to run while I am applying the brake. Like there is alot of gas in the line because after a few seconds of being stopped it goes back to idle. I really dont know how to fix that? other then that it runs so smooooooth! Little to fast for the stock wheels so I had to buy some more sticky ones....

The second thing is I really dont like using this controller and I really like the controller off my tmaxx can I change it all out for the steering and throttle set up from my 3.3? Is the controller and stuff worth anything to anyone that i should put it up for trade? Or trade + money?

Make sure your throttle linkage is set up right and you could also increase your EPA for "ch" 2 - just make sure you are not stressing the servo.

Yes you could swap out the radio system- everything would fit and it would be easy to do. I think there is a potential buyer for your radio- you could put it up for sale on e-bay and in these forum section.

Not a problem- I like to run that car rich simply because it is that fast- either that or limit the throttle travel through EPA for ch 2 high
