My very first 1/16th tank: Tamiya's Tiger 1

After building that, of course I had to get it's nemesis: Trumpeter's 1/16th T-34/76 Mod. 1943.

Then I had the itch to buy the Tiger II. Sadly, I lost the figure during our move.

Then I modified it a little and re-painted this beast.

Still wasn't happy with it so I ripped it apart so I could put Matorro's KT upper hull and turret on top of it. What a surprise, it fit like a charm!

And last but not least, I repainted my 1/16th FOV full-interior King Tiger.

I still have to take pics of my other T-34/76, Pershing, the new Tiger I, re-painted T-34/85, because they're all in a state re-building.

Very good modelling and paint there my friend. I know Stumpybloke likes your T34, but I particularly like your Tiger 1 and its octopus paint scheme. Well done mate and like stumpy says...Staggeringly good looking models.

Nick.

From the photos they don't seem to have TBU installed or maybe I was wrong?

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like my paint jobs. And no, I have not installed TBUs in any of my tanks. I have no one to battle with.

Although I always wanted to see and hear exactly what happens when a Tamiya tank gets "hit".
