the micro t/b/dt are all the same. no noticeable difference. the monster raminator is the slowest.

Stampede Killer -> RE: what is faster (5/8/2008 1:00:09 AM)

i would say the micro t, because its not as big as the desert truck, and doesn't have such big tires like the raminator

ro3 -> RE: what is faster (5/8/2008 1:00:11 AM)

Actually, the dt handles the best with medium speed, the raminator is slow but runs over more...like the dogs tail...[:D]And the micro t is the lightest but has less overall control...

phenix_racing -> RE: what is faster (5/8/2008 8:19:16 PM)

yeah thats what i was thinking because the micro t is shorter in wheel base. but the dt is longer so it will handle better and go faster thanks guys i will probally get the DT pretty soon.

tires are like gearing. if you have tiny tires, it will be slow. if you have huge tires, it will be fast. Theoretically, the monster truck with the same electronics will be faster if the tires are bigger. I'm not saying it's faster, just thought id put in my two cents.

Stampede Killer -> RE: what is faster (5/11/2008 10:22:45 PM)

but the monster truck as lower gearing

robwiljas -> RE: what is faster (5/12/2008 8:19:40 AM)

My stock Micro Raminator is a hair faster than my friends stock Micro T. I took the stupid wheely bar off though. It also came with 3 different pinions you can install to customize the gearing.

Faster always equals best!

Mini_Me -> RE: what is faster (5/12/2008 1:49:25 PM)

Unless you only get 1-2 minutes of runtime.....

That depends what you consider fast. Smaller tires would lower the gearing which equals faster acceleration and lower top speed. Larger tires would slow acceleration but increase top speed. I don't know the difference in the overall speed of the 3 since I only have a DT. However, a buddy I know has the micro-t and all it does is wheely. I would expect that since my DT doesn't wheely then my truck may actually be faster.

dacaur -> RE: what is faster (5/14/2008 6:13:59 AM)

I would get the DT. speed is useless without control.... I liked my micro-T. but about 2 weeks after I got it they announced the micro DT. I was so mad I sold my micro t and got a mini monster baja [:D] (plus I moved to a new smaller house (my own rather than renting) and didnt have room indoors to run it anymore... but have a big backyard)

maxxin2.5 -> RE: what is faster (5/15/2008 3:24:52 AM)

i put the raminator tires on my micro t and man this thing flies but it does not have as good run time...it flips on corners, and the control is nothing compared to other wheels...get the t or baja...they are fastest and you can widen the wheels base for better stabitlity...
