Body finally attached with Velcro. Electronics are all sorted out as well. Further detailing like door mirrors, wipers, windshield and possibly dash.

Some flex porn...LOL!!

Motor turned out really well.

Your best effort yet, hope you don't clutter it up w/ excess "accessories".

You guys are giving me a lot of cool ideas...now i dont know when it will end! LOL!!

The wood rack looks very cool. Build one just like that is possible although very time consuming....I think Proline never considered something like this...

I think looks good (opinions welcomed) and would be sturdier.

ok ok maybe my first post was brash, set it in the grass and shoot a pic. i think the desk gave an unnatural contrast.

just a word of advice, if you have a rack on the top its illegal not to have flood lights on the vehicle........

Completed the roof rack lights minus lightining. In these pics a more precise and close to final placement of roof rack is seen. I also added the door mirror.

The wood will receive a darker tint to bring a more realistic look...sometime this week...LOL!

Body is a vintage Monster Beetle painted in Herbie flavor.

Well I thought I would be taken time off the build today but some inspiration made me work on it again. Scratch the previous tire placement. Im thinking of going with this instead....

Tire on top. For some reason the previous tire holder frame I did looks good over the rack and the curves on it finely match the bug's roof somehow (a concave vs convex symmetry going on).

I thinks it works and flows better.

I think it looks good on top though I think a set of those miniature bungee cords holding it down would go along with the theme of it more.

Tonight I didnt felt to inspired and just weathered the roof rack and tire. Wood was tinted also Added just a few accessories and made a "Coca-Cola" typer cooler like the ones you typically see over classic VW....

Only God knows when the wheels be available, hate to wait and it sucks. This one will be in the back burner, dont know when will give any new update....If I get too impatient I will either sell it as it is or just tear it apart and start some other project.
