What you think? I will modify further the back links to align the wheels with the rear wells and some other goodies.

Roller! For real now...

Had to adjust all the links so the body rests now lower and aligned. Now I need to securely attach the body to the chassis. I plan on adding lights front and rear only. I may need to scratchbuild an engine for the back.....

Pics...

Flex?

Sorry for the big shots....dont know what happened?

Update!

Some tube work at back as well as motor plate ready for the engine. I already paint it white to match the body work.

Nice looking rig. You should have the pulleys on the motor actually spin via a small electric motor out of a servo or a micro heli.

What shocks are those? How about body off shots?

The truck will have two fuel lines at each end feeding double carburetors...

More or less like this:

As you can see its not exactly the same but close and in the end the engine will be partially concealed with the body. I want to have just enough texture there to resemble the real thing.

Bit of update. Continued with the carbs and fuel lines. I decided to cut the body a little to better fit over the engine. (this is a real vintage Beetle body!) Oh well...!

Planning on fabricating a low profile spoiler for the back to enhance the look. I got to figure a way of cleanly installing the body without holes in it.

Some pics...
