my friend hooked his video camera up to the roll bar on his revo, and after a few seconds of running, the vibration from the engine became too much and the camera shut itself off for safety.

That is awesome. I was running late last night and was thinking it would be cool to put lights on. Not only to keep track of where it is, but also it easier to tell which way you are facing after spinning.

Was that a kit of did you rig it up yourself?

I'm kinda wondering the same thing. Those lights look pretty sweet there beasely. Where did u get them from and is there in fact a kit or similar to install from?

FPV FTW! This guy (crash9) has the best setup I've seen - the pan and tilt camera mounted on his RC sends a RF signal to a receiver connected to a video monitor. He drives the car by looking at the monitor from inside his garage. The night video he took with his GPS with On Screen Display is amazing. The amount of data being displayed makes it look like a HUD on an F-16. He has another video where he mounted a small mirror in front of his camera so he can see behind when he's in backing up. The camera pans slightly toward whichever direction he is steering. Awesome setup.

If you're also into flying there's some really good FPV flying videos on Youtube.

we run led light setups at the track after dark, it's alot of fun, there 6 led kits, 2 red in rear, 2 white in front and 2 in blue, green or amber also in front.
you can actuly see where your going, it's alot of fun.
