Well for starters let me say this is my first ever airplane that I have ever put togeteher it is the F6F Hellcat the total time of glueing it together was 15 Hrs I have Baught a cheap airplane the same size as the hellcat so I could rob the guts out of it so I can fly it know I Just need to buy some Dope were can this stuff be Baught Just wondering the next step is to put some dope on the frame of the airplane and then the tissue so fare so good I Just got done glueing today
thought I would share with every 1 yep I know I will need to do a little light sanding on some of the glueded parts so the tissue paper lays flat and then I will Balance the plane I think I will wait on that until I get the motor and other electric stuff any I Just wanted to share with every 1 my dirst plane

P.s for those out there that are wanting to Build a Plane Dont Hesitate Just do it

Status: offline 		dope may be hard to come by. if you are going electric, you can use nitrate dope. glow would need butrate dope. there are some people that have used Aeroglass dope and its supposedly fuel proof nitrate dope because of some addative. at least i think i have that right.

lots of people now-a-days are applying tissue with a glue stick. is this what you plan to do?

also, some people are just skipping out on dope and using various types of spray paint.

Status: offline 		Just for grins, Here is some pics of the same kit I am building as a static model for my grandson. Notice: I am building up the cowl area and threw the plastic cowl away. The sheeting was a fun little project.
