Colt4g63 -> Picco P9R EVO 2 X-Dyno results (5/8/2008 7:41:55 AM)

Well I finally got around to doin a test on the P9R today and here are the results. I can make more power but I didnt want to lose any low end power or sacrifice tune or fuel consumption. This test was done on a 9886 pipe and Nitrotane 30% fuel with a Dynamite #8 turbo plug. The engine runs flawlessly, tunes very easily and holds that tune perfectly. I cant stress how much I like these Picco mills.

Updated dyno sheet below.

looks pretty sick...

whats kind of gains could i expect with a modded jammin.28 with a 086 pipe?

Very considerable gains. You'll go from 1.7-1.8HP to 2.1-2.15HP with a stage 2 modification.

what is a really good engine for a fast truggy with modds? i mean an engine for extrem bashing speeds. i have a traxxas jato with a modded os tz and it's fast just too fast and i like it but it handles like a wet trud lol[:D]

wow that about 10%... let me learn to drive with the jpx .28 stock first [:D]...

does it have to be new to mod? whats the cutoff usually as far as how many gallons?...

I honestly am shy of taking them in with much over a gallon. I prefer them to be as fresh as possible so It all depends on the condition of the engine. I can always throw new bearings or a rod etc if the engine needs it.

UPDATE!!

Well I went out in the shop and did some more runs today and got a better tune. By the time I was done the other day when I was testing this mill I was worn out and tired of getting fumes in the face lol... I just got a decent tune and just called it quits for the day as I was honestly worn out from a long day..... Well I knew there was more in it so I got some time today and threw a fresh plug in and did some runs. So here are the results from today with a nice improvement. The original sheet I went ahead and took off as its obsolete now. Here is the graph from today.
