here's the new model. sure a lot of balsa, 3 wings 48"x 8" chord each. 1 3/4 pounds. scaled up from the usual 3" drawing. dick

Nice work Dick!

I always thought that would be a cool plane to model. I like the
stuff nobody else has done! I think they tried that design as a
mono, bi and triplane.

yep the bones are complete and finish sanding started. now try to decide what the covering matl and color will be, have lots of plaid thin fabric of different colors. a heck of a lot cheaper than Coverite, if I could find it, even tho I still have a few yards of natural in stock. have decided that the next one will be the Dornier Do 13 Delphin 111 seaplane, 48", easier to transport in the car. do have to find new balsa supplier, since the Lone Star fire. my stock pile is getting thin. dick
