Yikes, the Grinch that stole RCmas...

LOL im just saying it how i see it , this thing as they say is still a concept , so any kind of negative feedback on it at this point should be welcome so that the final product can made how we want it to be made and improved upon the day it properly does go into production . Thers no point saying that its perfect now only to hear the bunch of you all complain about this buggy after its been made .

A negative comment from splcrazy? NO!!

can we just have the one thread for this. so everything is together

I didn't want to post 17 1024x768 pics in Hellya's thread, I thought it would be rude. When the reviews are done, I'll make an official thread.

At the rate of time it takes FOXY to drive ANYTHING, it will be xmas before we get a review...

Hopefully he can pull himself away from " HIS JOB" to go play for an hour and take a few pix or a short video.

(just bustin' on ya bro)

I almost dropped my IRS return check on one of these, but I'm still having a blast with my Baja and FG (cept I need a layshaft gear) so I will hold off, but it looks like a fairly solid car sofar.

You're lucky this is RCU, or I'd tell you to go do something to yourself.

The NT1 review took a month. It's not time constraints, it's the amount of detail, editing, re-reading, editing again, and it'll take a week once it's finished to get it up in the RCU magazine. I'm afraid that's out of my hands, once the review is done. But it's true I have a 9 to 7 job and a very demanding female comanion who hates RC. So...

LOL.. no worries I knew you were busy a while back and would be around a bit more. I got out with my Baja for 2 hours lastnight after working a long stressfull week myself as well, so its all good

are all the gears metal? From what I can tell the drive lines are, but what about the spur and transfer gear?

I'll let you know about the gears and diffs tomorrow, when I partially strip the car. I hadn't paid any attention to the supplied transmitter, just expecting it to be an RTR 27mhz AM jobby. I'm sitting here listening to some music in my office, and I just picked it up to have a look at it. It's 2ch 27mhz FM, with both trims, independent thottle and brake EPA, and dual rate steering adjustments. These features are not common on RTR transmitters, so another point in the plus column for this package.

i wouldnt even turn it on with an AM! ..i know you have to cuz your testing it ..We all know how bad AM radio gear is with interference & with largescale its not only an annoyance but also a safety issue!... for the sake of an extra £20-30 on top of the kit price they could have supplied it with an FM :s

Foxy, get out ya whip (the one with 9 tales ) & tell em!!!!

j/k but serioulsy.. to me it seems a decent model (so far from the pics/info youve gave & helical gears is a big bonus) ..but the radio gear is a BIG letdown. Even some nitros are now shipped with FM or better... LST2 for instance is now shipped with a DX3! lol

it comes with a FM radio system and a fail safe...the radio has a servo reversing mode for ch1 & 2 .... seperate trim for each channel.....as Foxy stated independent thottle/ brake EPA, and dual rate steering adjustments

I just wonder what is the retail price point for a LST2?

OK, 70% of the text is ready, the last 30% will be finished soon. It's already over 5000 words. Still no videos due to personnel and logistical issues, but hope I can solve that soon. I hope you agree it has been worth the wait for this in-depth write up. When finished, it will be my best work to date. I will upload links later today.
